Title: Lightning
Describe it in a few sentences.
My friday drawing is a bolt of lightning in a raining sky. I drew it because I previously saw lightning while on the way to school.
How did you use the elements and principles of art? Explain where you include them.
I used shading and space to try and describe how the sky looked, and to draw the viewer’s attention to the bolt of lightning. I include them in the background and central.
Where and when did you do this?
I did this thursday while hope sick.
What is the most original or creative part?
The lightning bolt is the most original part, because there will never be another lightning bolt exactly like it.
Why did you choose this particular theme?
I chose this theme because I found it interesting.
What do you like best and what do you like least? Why.
I least like the shading, because I feel that I didn’t even it out enough and I think it looks choppy.

I chose this theme because I didn’t know what to draw.

I like the appearance of the robot the most, and the hands the least. I dislike the hands because I drew them too quickly.

I did this over the last week at home and in school.

The different poses.

I chose it due to curiosity.

I like the style of the drawings the most, and the mis-drawn parts the least. The drawings are very “ street artist “ styled, but there are certain parts of the drawing that are more sloppy or drawn badly.

I did this over the week, and mostly at my house in my free time.

The fire coming from the character’s hands.

I like the jeans the most from the great detail and realistic factors in them. I dislike the shoes the most because they aren’t the best looking.

Title: Van Gogh’s Pie
Describe it in a few sentences.
The drawing is a detailed drawing of a pie with similar uses of the line in comparison with Vincent Van Gogh’s style.
How did you use the elements and principles of art? Explain where you include them.
I used pattern on the cherries and the crust, Space for everywhere around the pie, and unity for the different types of line.
Where and when did you do this?
I did this at my house.
What is the most original or creative part?
The entire pie is extremely creative.
Why did you choose this particular theme?
I chose this theme because it interested me, and was something new.
What do you like best and what do you like least? Why.
I like the crust the most, because if you hold the picture up and away from your face, the page appears to move with the direction of the crusts. I dislike the accidental smudges I left on the paper. I hope not to leave smudges as often in the future.

The cap, because of its realistic shading.

It was available to draw, and it seemed like a fun thing to draw.

I like the cap the most, because of its shading. I like the bottom of the bottle the least, because its not completely rounded correctly.

A heavily layered drawing of a maple leaf.
How did you use the elements and principles of art? Explain where you include them.
I used shading for each layer of the drawing, as well as pattern on the stem. You can see movement from the angle of the lines in the layers, and I also used contrast between layers to draw the viewer’s eyes from place to place.
Where and when did you do this?
I started it at my house, and I finished the picture in School.
What is the most original or creative part?
The Layers are the most original and creative, because each line is at a specific angle. With all the lines at the right angle, there is movement shown in the picture.
Why did you choose this particular theme?
It looked like a fun project to do.
What do you like best and what do you like least? Why.
I like the layer shading the most because of its movement aspect, and I dislike the shading outside of the leaf because it disrupts the viewer’s experience.

The contrasted shading is the most original part.

I chose this theme because it does a very good job of showing the shape of the pumpkin.

I like the shading, because it really does a good job of making the pumpkin appear three dimensional, but in a non-realistic way.

I used shading for the shadow of the clock, as well as the face and the inside of the face cover. I used texture to represent the metallic part of the watch, and contrast to show a glint on the glass cover.

It drew it specifically to look more realistic from a certain point of view.

I like the crust the most, because if you hold the picture up and away from your face, the page appears to move with the direction of the crusts. I dislike the accidental smudges I left on the paper. I hope not to leave smudges as often in the future.

The Layers are the most original and creative, because each line is at a specific angle. With all the lines at the right angle, there is movement shown in the picture.
